Adding a Stock Location

Learn how to create both Stock Locations & Sub-Locations.

Step-by-Step Guide

Equipment & Stock

Step 1

Go to 'Locations'

To start, on the left sidebar, click 'Stock & Products', then in the dropdown menu that opens click 'Locations'.

Step 2

Click 'Add Location'

In the top right of the Locations page, click 'Add Location'.

Step 3

Fill in Title field

On the location form that then opens, give the location a name by filling in the 'Title' field.

Step 4

Select a Colour

Next, use the colour picker to select a colour to represent this location across your Teamleaf system.

Step 5

(Optional) Select a Depot

Next, you can either save the location as it is, or continue filling in information. If you wish to associate this location with a depot, select that depot here.

Step 6

(Optional) Add Parent Location (Creates a Sub-Location)

If you wish to make this location as a Sub-Location,

After creating your location, you will be taken to the Location page.

Step 8

Sub-Location Page

A Sub-location page will have a notification in the top right corner that will show you which location is the parent. Clicking this will take you to the parent location.

Parent-Location page

A parent location page will have the Child locations viewable in a table.
